About Me

My Art

"I began drawing around the age of ten 'the paper doll days', I call it. It was when I became inclined to drawing people. I discovered how to blend pencil, soft lead colors and pastels to get realistic images.

In college, I learned through other mediums such as charcoals, graphites, inks, painting and sculpting. Intuitively, I have utilized and manipulated the skills I've acquired to a unique advantage.

I find inspiration in many forms of art, specifically (landscapes, skies, nature, culture, people and abstract expression) and through works of favorable artists (Georgia O'Keefe, Frieda Kahlo, Wassily Kandinsky, Salvador Dali, and Henri Matisse).

My art is intense, of dedication and pride. It comes from a personal place, self-satisfaction and indulgence. I love the work that I do.

Only in recent years have I acknowledged my work openly. I've enjoyed the positive responses and I will continue to share my work with others."
