I paint using professional grade mediums; acrylic and oil. Each piece is varnished to sustain the longevity of colors on 100% duck cotton canvas. Framing is not necessary as each are pre-stretched on a 1/4" thick wooden frame. Edges are also painted and varnished.

Sketches...

The portraits I create are from photos. Subjects are scaled to a larger size, generally, 9"x12". I use charcoals, chalk, graphite / lead pencils and / or pastels on quality, acid-free drawing paper. To preserve its fine quality, I use professional grade fixatives to protect it from smudges, fading and yellowing over time. You'll appreciate the astounding quality!
